Saudi-led aggression forces target the homes of citizens in Hodeidah

The US-Saudi aggression forces and mercenaries attacked several areas in Yemen’s Red Sea port city of Hodeidah, in a new violation to the ceasefire agreement, during the past 24 hours, a military source confirmed on Sunday.

According to the source, the aggression forces used artillery shells to attack the homes of citizens in the village of Al-Shajan in the besieged Durayhimi district, leaving material damages.

Aggression’s bombardment also hit civilians’ homes and property in al-Tuhayata district, leaving material damages.

As well as it targeted residential neighborhoods on 50th Street and the 7th of July neighborhood.

The US-Saudi aggression and its mercenaries have continued to violate a UN-backed agreement signed between representatives from the National Delegation and the Riyadh-sponsored government of ex-president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, in Sweden last year, a ceasefire along the Hodeidah front and the redeployment of armed forces out of the city and its port.

While the Yemeni forces are committed to implement the Stockholm agreement, and adopted unilateral measures such as redeployment of forces from Hodeidah ports, observation of the ceasefire and maintaining the flow of aid convoys among other steps, the coalition of aggression and its mercenaries are delaying the implementation of the accord, and the United Nations took no action and did not fulfill its obligations.
