A mass rally in Saada governorate to commemorate Ashura

Saada governorate witnessed, on Sunday, a mass rally to commemorate Ashura, the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

In the mass rally presented by the leadership of the local authority and scientific figures, the participants chanted slogans confirming the path of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in revolution and jihad in the face of tyrants regardless of the sacrifices.

The governor of Saada, Mohammed Jaber Awad, linked the tragedy of Imam Hussain, when he stood alone in front of oppressors, to the crimes inflicted on him, his children and his family, and to the tragedy of Yemen today, which has been standing for over five years in the face of US-Saudi aggression.

The occasion speech delivered by the Director-General of the Culture Office, Yahya Al-Hamzi, confirmed that the commemoration of this event is one of our expressions of love, loyalty, and our connection with the master of the martyrs and his position.

The participants called for confronting the US-Saudi aggression coalition with money and troops, to defend Yemen’s freedom.
