YPC: Aggression coalition seizes diesel ship “Viviana”

Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) confirmed on Tuesday that the US-led aggression detained a new fuel vessel loaded with diesel, despite it was cleared by the United Nations.

In a statement, YPC’s official spokesman Essam al-Mutawakel stated that the aggression coalition seized the ship “Viviana” loaded with more than 28 thousand tons of diesel.

He pointed out that the US-led aggression coalition continues to detain fuel vessels despite their inspection and obtaining UN permits to enter Hodeida port.

The company’s spokesperson called on the international community and humanitarian and international organizations to pressure the aggression coalition to abide by the declared truce and stop detaining the fuel vessel.
