Amnesty International warned the United States of America that continued arms transfers to the Zionist enemy “will make the United States complicit in violations of international law committed with these weapons.”
In a press statement, Amnesty International called for the imposition of an arms embargo on the enemy state in front of its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech before Congress on Wednesday.
The organization’s executive director in the United States, Paul O’Brien, said: “The American government has obtained ample evidence from experts around the world that American-made weapons are being used by the Israeli government in war crimes and unlawful killings.”
It added: “The Israeli government has used American weapons in serious violations of international humanitarian law and human rights law, as well as American law and policy.”
It pointed out that the International Court of Justice “decided that it was unreasonable to see that Israeli forces used American weapons to violate international humanitarian law.”
O’Brien urged President Biden to end the US administration’s complicity with the occupation government in gross violations of international law, saying: “Biden must immediately suspend arms transfers to the Israeli government.”
